Mini-Review – A Serpent’s Tooth (Walt Longmire #9)

I finished reading A Serpent’s Tooth about a week ago.  And, you know what?  I think I’ve waited too long to write my review.  For some reason, I’m only remembering the high points of the plot and not a lot of the detail that usually stands out in a Longmire novel.

As usual I enjoyed it and Johnson was a little less heavy-handed with the “Walt Women Ogling” that bugged me in book 8.  It’s a decent story but there wasn’t a lot of movement in the overall series story arc.  Henry is pretty much a back-burner character (sad face) but there were a few new interesting secondary characters.

Overall not bad but not super memorable (except for a few scenes that I can’t mention as they are WAY too spoilerish).

4/5 stars.
